Plastic jars often turn into deadly traps for stray and wild animals on search of food and water. Once they put their head inside, they are not able anymore to remove the jar by themselves...
We received a call from a kind lady who reported one dog whose head was stuck inside such a plastic jar.
Our team went to the spot and started searching the poor dog. As it was open land, it took us almost one hour before we finally were able to locate and catch the scared female.
We removed the jar carefully from her head, and have taken her directly to our shelter for sterilisation.
She is back now in her territory, sterilized and vaccinated against rabies, and will hopefully never again be the victim of such a plastic jar trap!
Act responsibly - dispose your waste properly!
Plastic jars, metal cans, plastic rings, glass, ... can terribly harm stray and wild animals on search of food and water, and can lead to injuries and death!
