HAPPY END FOR PAILWAN

We rescued Pailwan from Vinzar Gaon, a village around 90 km away from our centre, after he got bitten in a dog fight. The pictures that we received from the reporter looked horrific: Pailwan had very deep wounds on his throat and neck, and it was clear that he was in unbearable pain šŸ˜”

After he reached our centre, we immediately started his treatment, cleaned the wounds and admistered painkillers and antibiotics. Weeks of intensive treatment and care followed.

Considering the severeness of the injuries, we were aware that it would be a long way for him to a full recovery. At the end, the complete wound healing took around 3 months. And despite all the pain and treatment that he had to go through, Pailwan was so calm, friendly and cooperative! He is such a good boy šŸ’™

Of course we also sterilised him and vaccinated him against rabies.

After his complete recovery, we brought him back to Vinzar Gaon, and we were happy to see the people of his location eagerly waiting for him to return. They will feed him and take care of him ā¤ļø

We hope that Pailwan will have a safe and healthy life ahead šŸ’™
